Production area: D.O.P. FRIULI COLLI ORIENTALI
in the hills of the municipality of Attimis at 200 m. above sea level.
Type of wine: Dry red.
Soil: Flysch of the Eocene epoch with a prevalence of sandstone.
Growing system: Guyot.
Harvest: Early October (first ten days of the month). The grapes are hand harvested, selected and separated into crates.
Vinification: Maceration of Cabernet, Merlot and Refosco dal peduncolo rosso grapes for at least 15 days at a temperature of about 26°C. Once racked off and gently pressed, the wine stands in stainless steel vats until Spring.
Enhancement: The wine is transfered into medium charme French oak barrels with different dimensions.
Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
Total acidity: 5,50 gr/l
Organoleptic Characteristics: Ruby red colour. Rich bouquet, full and definite flavour with scent of ripe fruit, vanilla and spices.
Conservation: Keep in a cool and dark place.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C
Bottle: 750 ml
Food combinations: Suitable for red and roast meats and game.
